What are Greenroofs?

Essentially a green roof is plants and vegetation growing on a roof. Depending on the roof type, size and slope it is possible to use a wide variety of plants including sedum/succulents, grass types, trees, shrubs and wildflowers.

Greenroofs Ltd is unique to New Zealand and offers a comprehensive, specialised green roof service, from concept design through to installation. A technical consultancy service is also available.
