This roof was installed on the new Psychology Building at the University campus in Dunedin. Greenroofs Ltd installed the drainage mat and our own specially blended growing medium. The planting of the green roof was carried out by the University. The roof was installed to help to purify rainwater before it is stored in tanks to be used for flushing toilets and irrigation elsewhere on site. The building is one of the first New Zealand buildings built to national Green Star education category standards.
